“Black Adam” topped the domestic box office for the third weekend in a row with an estimated $18.5 million in ticket sales.
The superhero origin story took in $67 million domestically in its opening weekend. The film has now earned $134 million domestically and $320 million globally.
The comic book adventure from Warner Bros. stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a villain whos been asleep for 5,000 years.
The anime “One Piece Film: Red” claimed the No. 2 spot at the box office, with $9.5 million. In Japan, it is the ninth highest-grossing film of all time.
The romantic comedy “Ticket to Paradise” starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney dropped to the No. 3 spot in its third weekend, with $8.5 million.
