Christina Applegate received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, in her first public appearance since revealing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
Applegate, 50, was diagnosed with MS while filming the third and final season of the Emmy-nominated Netflix series “Dead to Me.”
In an interview with Variety, Applegate revealed that filming was as hard as you would possibly think it would be,” and it might be her last acting role.
“Im just a newbie to all of this,” she said of her diagnosis. “So I’m trying to figure it out — and I’m also in mourning for the person who I was.”
But even if acting is off the table, “Id like to develop stuff, Id like to produce stuff,” Applegate said. “Ive got a lot of ideas in my mind, and I just need to get them executed.”
