Jay Leno was discharged from the hospital Monday, ten days after sustaining “serious burns” when a vintage car burst into flames in his garage.
The former “Tonight Show” host was discharged from the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles, where he was treated for burns to his face, chest and hands, the hospital said in a statement.
I am pleased with Jay’s progress, and I am optimistic that he will make a full recovery,” Dr. Peter Grossman said. Leno will continue to receive outpatient care.
Leno smiled for photos with staff, revealing some of his injuries. The hospital said Leno is “appreciative of all the well wishes” and “wishes everyone a wonderful holiday.”
