Jennifer Lawrence regrets making “Passengers,” the 2016 sci-fi film in which shes alone in space with co-star Chris Pratt, the actress told The New York Times.
In an interview with the Times, the actress revealed it was pop star Adele who warned her not to star in the movie.
“Adele told me not to do it,” Lawrence said. “She was like, I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies. I should have listened to her.”
The “Hunger Games” star also told the Times she left agency CAA in 2018 because she “felt like more of a celebrity than an actor.”
In a return to smaller movies, Lawrence is starring in the Apple Original Film “Causeway,” about a U.S. soldiers return from Afghanistan, which releases Friday.
