Sylvester Stallone told the Hollywood Reporter that he thinks “Creed III” takes the “Rocky” franchise to a “dark space.”
“Creed III” will star Michael B. Jordan in his directorial debut, and is the first “Rocky” film not to include Stallone, who co-wrote “Creed II,” as an actor and producer.
“It was taken in a direction that is quite different than I wouldve taken it. Its a different philosophy,” Stallone told the magazine.
“I like my heroes getting beat up, but I just dont want them going into that dark space,” he said. “I just feel people have enough darkness.”
Stallone also revealed that a streaming “Rambo” prequel “may happen again because now Amazons involved. Its pretty close.”
