According to his doctor, Jay Leno will have another operation for his burn wounds later this week and has already gone through one surgery.
Dr. Peter Grossman, who is treating the former Tonight Show Host, claimed during a news conference last week that Leno, an enthusiastic auto collector,
had been working underneath a car on Saturday when he was injured by a gasoline fire.
After the incident, Leno was originally brought to a nearby hospital before being moved to the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles.
The doctor noted that Leno’s wife has been by his side and is obviously very concerned.
According to Grossman, he sustained a combination of second- and possibly third-degree burns.
