Amy Adams, who played Lois Lane opposite Henry Cavills Superman in 2013s “Man of Steel,” said shes “excited” hes returning to the role.
“Hes such a wonderful Superman so Im very excited for him,” the actress told Variety at the premiere of Disneys “Disenchanted.”
Asked whether she will reprise her role as Lois, she said, “They havent spoken to me about it.”
“If its me, great. If its somebody else, the role of Lois has been filled by so many wonderful actresses in the past so Ill support whatever direction they go,” she said.
Cavill confirmed his return as Superman on social media on Oct. 26, after the opening of “Black Adam,” in which he makes a cameo appearance.
