“Top Gun: Maverick” will be returning to theaters for a two-week special engagement from Dec. 2 through Dec. 15, Paramount Pictures announced.
The most successful film of the summer, “Top Gun: Maverick” is a sequel to 1986s “Top Gun,” and Tom Cruise returned to star as pilot Pete Maverick Mitchell.
“Maverick” opened in theaters Memorial Day weekend and brought in more than $1.4 billion globally, making it Paramounts highest-grossing film ever.
The limited release will hit theaters nationwide and wrap up before the films streaming release on Paramount+ on Dec. 22, in time for holiday viewing.
