Trevor Noah Hosts Final Daily Show

Trevor Noah hosted “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central for the final time Thursday, following a 7-year run as anchor on the satirical news program.
The South African comedian was tapped in 2015 to replace Jon Stewart, who hosted the program for 16 years.
“Issues are real, but politics are just an inventive way to solve those issues,” Noah said in parting. “Its not a binary. There are not just two ways to solve any problem.”
“The Daily Show” will return in January with a series of guest hosts, and no permanent replacement has been announced.
Noah said hes looking forward to getting out from behind the desk. His “Trevor Noah: Off The Record” tour kicks off in Atlanta on Jan. 20.
