Sarah Michelle Gellar recently talked about “toxic male” sets where “women were pitted against each other” at The Wraps Power of Women Summit.
“For so long, I was on a set that I think was known for being an extremely toxic male set,” the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star said during the “Power of Storytelling: Producers Roundtable.”
Gellar, 45, said the experience taught her that “if women became friends, then we became too powerful, so you had to keep that down.”
Gellar didnt name director Joss Whedon, but “Buffy” co-star Charisma Carpenter and Gal Gadot and Ray Fisher of “Justice League” have accused Whedon of abusive behavior.
